The Gillen Group shares their passion for the Gulf coast lifestyle with Buyers and Sellers, specializing in primary homes, vacation homes and wealth building investment properties. As Full-Time, Professional Realtors, Eileen and Brian assist Buyers and Sellers in Sarasota County and Manatee County including downtown Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Cortez as well as the surrounding islands of Longboat Key, Lido Key, Siesta Key, and Anna Maria Island.
The Gillen's are members of the National Association of Realtors and the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee Counties. They are also members of the exclusive Coldwell Banker Global Luxury program which is achieved by less than ten percent of all Coldwell Banker Agents. It is based on the successful negotiation and sale of multiple $1M+ luxury residences.
Regularly achieving the "TOP 10" of all Coldwell Banker agents in Southwest Florida for their high volume of successfully completed transactions, The Gillen Group works hard for their Customers. They put their honest work ethic, exceptional communication skills and detail-oriented understanding of the real estate process to work for Customers ensuring they feel properly represented when buying or selling.
Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Realty, The Gillen's owned a real estate development business in addition to having professional careers. The business focused on the acquisition, renovation and resale of residential properties for profit. Simultaneously, Eileen was a Licensed Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist running a private practice and Brian was the CEO of an international logistics company, specializing in the global transport of beverages – primarily shipping wine from all over the world to the United States and Asia..
The Gillen's both earned their undergraduate degrees from Villanova University. They continued their graduate education with Eileen earning an M.A. from The New School for Social Research and a Ph.D. in School and Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University while Brian earned an M.S. in Business from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. The Gillen's eventually settled in Moorestown, New Jersey where they raised two great daughters...both of whom have successful careers. One is a Senior Financial Associate doing Real Estate Portfolio Acquisitions on a corporate level and the other is a Senior Finance Manager for Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions.
When enjoying the Florida lifestyle, you will often find Eileen and Brian on their boat touring water front neighborhoods or dropping a hook hoping to bring home 'the catch of the day'. When returning home, they are happily greeted by their two dogs, Finnegan and Augustine.
