Patti Nakagawa is the Senior Vice President and Managing Broker-in-Charge (BIC) of the Honolulu Office at Coldwell Banker Realty. In this capacity, she oversees the sales and profit performance of the company's top producing office in Hawaii, providing strategic oversight to a team of over 130 sales associates. Under her guidance, the Honolulu Office consistently achieves the International President's Premier office designation, ranking in the top 2% of all Coldwell Banker Realty branch offices nationwide.
Additionally, Patti serves as the Global Luxury Director at Coldwell Banker Realty - Hawaii. In this role, she manages the highly successful Global Luxury program, which includes a team of more than 100 luxury market specialists across the organization.
Patti's expertise extends beyond real estate. Before her career in this dynamic industry, she enjoyed a thriving journey in luxury retail. At retail giant DFS Hawaii, Patti held senior-level positions in merchandising, store operations and marketing. Her leadership was instrumental in driving the company's most productive store globally and establishing the most successful retail store in Hawaii.
With over four decades of experience in sales, operations management, and marketing, Patti brings a wealth of knowledge and proficiency to her role. Her focus areas include leadership, sales management, and business development within the real estate and luxury retail industries.
Patti actively participates in several professional organizations, including the National Association of Realtors (NAR), Hawaii Association of Realtors (HAR), Honolulu Board of Realtors (HBR), and the Institute of Luxury Home Marketing (ILHM). She served on the HAR Forms committee from 2004 - 2007 and most recently contributed to the redevelopment of HAR forms in anticipation of industry changes driven by the National Association of Realtors. Her commitment to professional development is evident through her Broker's license earned in 2008 and her designations as a Luxury Property Specialist, Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) and Certified Home Marketing Specialist (CHMS).
In 2009, Patti served a pivotal role in establishing Coldwell Banker Realty's House Speakers Toastmasters club, fostering leadership and communication growth for its sales associates and employees through Toastmasters International. Her leadership and ongoing mentorship within the club demonstrate her unwavering commitment to professional development and support for her colleagues.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Nakagawa is a graduate of Roosevelt High School and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development, and has attended numerous advanced education classes in business, including a Consumer Marketing Strategy Program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Beyond her professional achievements, Patti embraces life's joys. When she is not immersed in real estate or mentoring, she indulges her passions. Traveling allows her to explore new horizons, while pickleball and the ukulele provide creative outlets. Patti and her husband, Nelson, cherish moments with their children and grandchildren whenever they visit the mainland.
