In just nine short years, Thomas Kersey has built an impressive business and cultivated a reputation for outstanding customer service throughout the South Carolina Lowcountry by being a persistent, determined, and forward-thinking entrepreneur.

Thomas began his real estate business in 2014 after finishing his Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, a Paralegal Degree, and a Foreign Studies Semester in Madrid Spain . He worked at a local law firm, specifically in estate planning, asset protection, and probate law. He wanted a more fulfilling career where he would not have to answer to someone else and help people. Real estate not only gave him that opportunity, but it also offered him the chance to build his own business, utilize his legal background and blend all of his personal interests in design and architecture.

There is nothing Thomas loves more than a good challenge. He gets immense satisfaction from coming up with creative solutions to difficult situations. It’s why his slogan is “I-Close” (and his car tag!).

Thomas is proud of all that he has achieved at his age, primarily since he has accomplished far more than most at an early stage in his life. He is efficient, zealous, and incredibly effective at targeted marketing and social media.

His legal expertise, combined with his youthful energy, education, and notable accomplishments, has made him an effective communicator and a dynamic REALTOR® who is proud to work with everyone from first time home buyers to luxury clients, millennials to executives and vacation home buyers to investors.


Thomas has also proudly earned many of the highest designations in the industry including, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), Certified Luxury Property Specialist (CLPS), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Probate Real Estate Expert and is now a Licensed Real Estate Broker, the highest education in the industry.

Thomas is happily married to his amazing and supportive wife, Brittani. They have one daughter, Penelope, together. He enjoys hanging out and going to the beach with his family, traveling, interior design, boating, and racing luxury sports cars in his free time.
